Illinois River Rafting

Illinois RiverThe Illinois is perhaps the most beautiful river in Oregon. It flows through the remote Kalmiopsis Wilderness of Southern Oregon and is a tributary to the more famous Rogue River.

It's rarely run since it only flows after a recent rainstorm or in the spring when low level snow is melting. It also has many Class IV rapids as well as one significant Class V, Green Wall. If you have the skills, are willing to deal with cold weather, and can go after a rain storm, you won't be dissapointed.

Rogue River Rafting

Rogue River raftingThe Rogue River flows through the mountains of Southern Oregon and is one of the most famous rivers for rafting in the Country. It's best known for the 35 miles stretch from Grave Creek to Foster Bar. It flows through a forested canyon full of wildlife.

Most people take 3-5 days to complete the journey with stops at historic sites and some great hikes. This is a great trip for first-timers and families!
